What makes Studio Olfactif different from other perfume brands?
At Studio Olfactif, our difference lies in our commitment to “slow perfumery.” We reject mass production. Instead, each fragrance is hand-blended and bottled at the moment your order is placed. This ensures you receive a scent that is fresh, vibrant, and true to the perfumer’s original intention. We focus on the raw beauty of ingredients and name our creations honestly, after their main note (like Rose or Santal) followed by the total number of ingredients in the formula.

Are Studio Olfactif fragrances unisex?
Absolutely. We create with the ingredient, not the gender, in mind. A scent like Santal 33 or Thé Noir 29 is composed to be worn by anyone who is moved by its story and composition. Fragrance is a personal aura, and we invite you to explore what resonates with you, regardless of traditional categories.

Why do the names of your fragrances include a number?
The number in each name, such as Rose 31 or Baie 19, represents the total number of ingredients used in that specific formula. It is our way of being transparent and paying homage to the complexity of the creation. It’s a pact between the hero ingredient (like Rose) and the other components (the 30 others) that surround it to create a complete, balanced scent.

ORDERING & HANDCRAFTING

What does “handcrafted at the moment of order” mean?
When you place an order on studioolfactif.com, you aren’t selecting a pre-made bottle from a warehouse. Our team of skilled artisans in our ateliers receives your order and begins the process of creation. They carefully measure the precious oils, mix them according to the original formula, hand-pour the fragrance into your bottle, and finally date and label it by hand. This ritual ensures the freshest possible experience and connects you directly to the craft.

Can I personalize a bottle?
Yes, the label of your 50ml or 100ml bottle is your canvas. During the checkout process, you will have the option to add a personalized message. We will print this message on the label, making your fragrance truly one-of-a-kind.

How should I store my Studio Olfactif fragrance?
To preserve the integrity of the natural ingredients, we recommend storing your bottle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperature changes. The bathroom is not an ideal spot due to humidity. Treat your fragrance like a fine spirit.
